Papers: Explorations into Children's Literature is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal about children's literature research. While the scope is international, the journal has a particular emphasis on research and researchers in Australasia and the Pacific. It is the official journal of the Australasian Children's Literature Association for Research (ACLAR).

In it's early history, Papers was co-published as part of Magpies Magazine to provide a forum for discussion on Australian children's literature, aimed at students, teachers, academics and others engaged in the field of children's literature.
