Dr Robyn Arianrhod has worked in 'arts-based community programs in Victoria and New South Wales, and has taught mathematics in both alternative and mainstream educational programs'. She has taught at Monash University and Monash International College. 'Her mathematical research field is Einstein's theory of gravity, and she is also interested in the role of mathematics as a unifying universal language.'
Dr Arianrhod's publications include Einstein's Heroes (2003), a blend of science, history and biography, and Seduced by Logic: Emilie du Châtelet, Mary Somerville and the Newtonian Revolution (2011). (Seduced by Logic was longlisted for the 2012 National Biography Award.)
