Paul Williams is a relatively new immigrant to Australia. He grew up in Zimbabwe and has a PhD in Creative Writing from the University of Wisconsin (USA). He has published a young adult mystery novel (The Secret of Old Mukiwa, 2001) and a memoir (Soldier Blue, 2008) about growing up in the Zimbabwe civil war. He has lived near Noosa and taught Creative Writing at the University of the Sunshine Coast.
