'Following on from the successful national tour of If I Drown I can Swim, Yirra Yaakin in association with Spanish/ Aboriginal Theatre Company Cordazon de Varca presents a contemporary Aboriginal theatre piece Black Ants. This cross-cultural partnership will take place in Madrid, Spain and Perth, Australia. Through audio, vision & choreography this new hybrid work by Maitland Schnaars uses text as movement and movement as text in a worle premiere that explores the concept of what defines masculinity & how we feel within the context of cultural expectations and perceptions.'

'New cross-artform theatre work titled Black Ants that will test established concepts of what Aboriginal Theatre is and can be. This cross-cultural partnership will take place in Madrid, Spain and Perth, Australia.
