BiographyHistory

Maitland Schnaars is an award winning writer who has studied at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts and Edith Cowan University. Schnaars has written performance pieces combining poetry, multi media, visual art, movement and sound. In 2005 Schnaars was a co-founder of the theatre company Corazon De Vaca (q.v.). Maitland Scnaars also penned the play 'If I Drown I Can Swim.' Schnaars wrote and performed in 'Tears of Blood' in 2008 and in 2009 co-wrote and performed in 'The Briding Project' at Deckchair Theatre.
