BiographyHistory

Lưu Tường Quang was born in Sa Đéc, South Vietnam and came to Australia as a refugee in May 1975. He obtained his law degrees from University of Saigon and Australian National University. He became the first Vietnamese-born Barrister-at-Law in Australia in 1982. Before 1975, he was a Vietnamese Diplomat with postings to London, The Hague and Canberra. His last position to 30 April 1975 was the Acting Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Saigon. He was Head of SBS Radio from 1989 to 2006.
