BiographyHistory

A film production company set up in the mid-1980s by Paul Hogan and business partner/producer John Cornell. The company's two films, Crocodile Dundee (1986) and Crocodile Dundee II (1989) remain the most successful Australian films to date, taking in more than US$550 million dollars at the box office and through video/DVD distribution.

In 2018, Rimfire Films were listed on posters as the production company for Dundee: The Son of a Legend Returns Home, the putative fourth film in the series (later revealed as a Tourism Australia advertisement).
