'Brendan lives within a short walk of Wentworth Falls Lake, in the upper Blue Mountains of New South Wales, and finds pleasure, inspiration and renewal in the changing seasons and moods of this body of water that was created when European settlers dammed Jamison Creek in 1878 to supply water for the steam trains that carried passengers to and from Sydney long before electrification of the line.' (Publication summary)
