BiographyHistory

Peng Qinglong has a PhD in English Language and Literature, and is a Professor of English. In 2019, he was the Deputy Dean of the School of Foreign Languages, Shanghai Jiaotong University.

Peng Qinglong's research interests include contemporary Australian literature, and has been a Visiting Professor of Sydney University and Latrobe University. He received the Special Award for the Translation of Australian Classic Novels by Australia-China Council, and won the Australia-China Council competitive funding in c2003 for his research project: Australia and its Identity: A Critical Study of the Works of Peter Carey.
