History

Formerly Arts WA, the Department of Culture and the Arts 'supports the development and delivery of culture and the arts in Western Australia through the provision of funding to individual artists and organisations, devolved funding through selected organisations, and partnerships with Commonwealth, State and local government agencies.'

Its grants programs include Arts Development, Young People and the Arts, Indigenous Arts, Creative Industries, the Connect community collections program and the The Regional Touring Boost grants program.
