Adam C. Lees has worked in the mining and resources sector as a community relations and sustainability professional since 2000. He has worked on projects in Angola, Zambia, Gabon, Ethiopia, Guinea, Liberia and Samoa.
Adam was raised in Mount Isa and holds tertiary qualifications from Monash University (Melbourne), the Queensland University of Technology and Griffith University (Brisbane). He has a passion for photography and has travelled more than 60 countries.
In 2020, he co-authored A Question of Colour : My Journey to Belonging with his mother, Pattie Lees, which was shortlisted for the NSW Premier's Literary Awards Douglas Stewart Prize for non-fiction, and Queensland Premier's Award for a Work of State Significance.
