Lauren O’Mahony is a lecturer in Communication and Media Studies in the School of Arts, Murdoch University. Her research interests include the representation of feminism and romance in Australian ‘chick lit’, creativity and pedagogy, audience engagement with contemporary popular television and eco-critical readings of contemporary Australian women’s fiction.
