Correspondence to the editor of the Sydney Gazette published as an advertisement. The correspondent complains to Joseph Wyatt, the proprietor of the Royal Victoria Theatre, of the depreciation 'of the value of proper tickets' at the benefit night for Philip John Deane. Deane 'immediately offered to refund the disputed two shillings ... after the overture which was about to commence was over. The money was rejected, and so the matter rested.'
