A report on the 25 June 1868 entertainment held to raise funds for the Sydney City Mission. The 'gem of the evening was of course Miss Aitken'. Among the works recited by Miss Aitken was Thomas Hood's 'Bridge of Sighs' and D. M. Moir's 'Casa Wappy'.
