The program for Miss Aitken's recital included, among other items, the following: 'The Blind Iolanthe' from Danish playwright Henrick Hertz's King René's Daughter, one of Douglas Jerrold's 'Mrs. Caudle's Curtain Lectures', and selections from William Motherwell, Alfred Tennyson and William Shakespeare.
