AbstractHistoryArchive Description

'The magazine started life in February 1905 as Gunter's Magazine, flirted briefly with The New Gunter's Magazine and The New Magazine in 1910/1911, before settling into its most famous incarnation as New Story Magazine from August 1911 to November 1915. Finally it continued for another 16 months as All Around Magazine.'

Notes

  • The various incarnations of this magazine were also produced by different publishers. Chicago-based company LaSalle took over the magazine in October 1910 (then titled The New Gunter's Magazine), continuing through until January 1912 (with the magazine then known as New Story Magazine).
