Works about this Work

[Untitled] 1883 single work column
— Appears in: The Bega Gazette and Eden District or Southern Coast Advertiser , 17 November vol. 22 no. 89 1883; (p. 2)

The writer for the Bega Gazette comments on the second issue of The Gwydir Examiner and Moree General Advertiser. Impressed with the new paper, the writer concludes, somewhat tongue-in-cheek: 'our perusal of the Examiner has filled us so full of love for Moree, that we are strongly tempted to become a Morean; but the call of duty restrains; we have upon us the stern necessity of watching the Bega Standard, and Bega's gain must be Moree's loss. Nevertheless, we cheerfully say bon voyage to the Moree Examiner.'
