[Untitled], single work column

The writer for the Bega Gazette comments on the second issue of The Gwydir Examiner and Moree General Advertiser. Impressed with the new paper, the writer concludes, somewhat tongue-in-cheek: 'our perusal of the Examiner has filled us so full of love for Moree, that we are strongly tempted to become a Morean; but the call of duty restrains; we have upon us the stern necessity of watching the Bega Standard, and Bega's gain must be Moree's loss. Nevertheless, we cheerfully say bon voyage to the Moree Examiner.'
