'My first involvement in ghost-writing an autobiography of someone else (if you understand what I mean) will be published by JoJo Publishing (Melbourne) in early 2014. The Hard Way Home, based on extensive diaries and blogs written by Allan Roberts, details his extraordinary travels on a motorbike from London to his home town in country Victoria over 899 days and through about 60 countries in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia.

Along the way, Allan contracted most known tropical diseases, was detained at most borders, and had his motorbike stolen in Dubai. And he did the trip the hard way – ie without the sponsorship and support vehicles of celebrity riders like Ewan McGregor.' (Author's abstract)

'In Bali and Oats, the Australian PM visits Bali to sign the Bali Oil & Gas Access Negotiation agreement (BOGAN), but officers from ASIO, ASIS and AFP (all male and incompetent) believe there is a terrorist threat. The Australian Consul-General, assisted by a 60-year-old digital-whiz Granny Geek soon realise that an apparent terrorist group such as B.U.T.T. may have been created by another Australian diplomat who was researching a novel about threats to a Prime Minister visiting Bali to sign the BOGAN agreement...or maybe not!'
