Paul Greenway has worked for an Australian intelligence service in Sydney, Darwin and Canberra. He then joined Lonely Planet, writing guidebooks to Mongolia, Iran, Botswana, Poland and Kenya, among others - as well as Bali. Greenway became a high school teacher in Australia, lived in Indonesia promoting educational development programs, and wrote another guidebook and a photo book about his favourite island.
