Professor Whitlock is an ARC Professorial Fellow in the School of Communication and Arts (formerly the School of English, Media Studies and Art History) at The University of Queensland. She is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of the Humanities, and a member of the Academy Council. She is currently writing a book on Postcolonialism and Life Narrative for the Oxford series on Literature and Postcolonialism. She is a member of the judging panel for the Miles Franklin Prize.
Robert Thomson is a researcher with AustLit. His current research focuses on literary responses to the first World War, both during and after the conflict.
