BiographyHistory

Sometimes called Australia's first rock'n'roll band, The Dee Jays featured Johnny O'Keefe on vocals; other members included Dave Owen (saxophone), Kevin Naughton (guitar), Keith Williams (bass), Johnny Purser (drums), and Lou Casch (guitar).

Johnny O'Keefe parted ways with the band around 1963, but they remained together and performed until 1980.
