'Kerri Reeks was born in Adelaide in 1953 and lived his early years in Cockburn, Broken Hill and Mt Gambier. He joined the Australian Army at eighteen in 1972 and qualified as a Sapper in the Corps of Engineers training in combat engineering, earthmoving construction, minefield clearances and demolition tasks.He has since been an award-winning landscaper, restaurant owner and for the past thirty plus years he has travelled to over sixty countries around the world working in the oil and gas industry. It was during his travels that he began working on his debut novel Cage of War. He currently lives in the Adelaide Hills on his small acreage and is writing his next novel.' (Google books)
