1 Chorus : Elektra Ang Collins , 2020 single work drama

'"I am the shape you made me."

'The creative team that brought you Chorus in 2019 bursts back onto the Old Fitz stage with another World Premiere of a radically re-imagined Greek tragedy: Sophocles' Elektra.

'Ellie leads a double life. Her mum and sister berate her for being secretive and anti-social, but online, she is Elektra—an avatar who navigates social media with ease, who always has her finger on the pulse and who considers her followers her friends.

'When Ellie's favourite pop musician mysteriously disappears, she dives deep into the underworld of internet fandom to look for leads. And then—she finds one. And it leads to an address in Petersham.

'Told by a hyper-millennial chorus and oozing with Australian authenticity, Chorus: Elektra is about female selfhood, grief and trauma—and how those things work when the internet is involved.'

1 Saving Gracie Sally Alrich-Smythe , 2020 single work drama

'Grace and Aaron grew up in a home where all they had was each other. At 16 years of age, Aaron was pushed to leave his family home behind. At 8, little Gracie tried following him with her bags all packed. He got away. At 16, Grace has grown up too soon, and her brother is long gone. That is, until he shows up promising to give her back the childhood that was taken from her.

'Saving Gracie shows teenage boyhood on one hand and teenage girlhood on the other, and frames light-hearted, coming-of-age tales with a deeper probe into the effects of domestic abuse and neglect on young people.'

1 Carry Me Thomas De Angelis , 2020 single work drama

'Rachel and Chris have been friends for ages. They met at drama school, and basically haven't gone a day without seeing each other since. They're everything young creatives aspire to be: artistically satisfied, moderately well-known, and ready to be commissioned for a follow-up.

'And how do they do it? Well, has a lot to do with their perfectly platonic friendship — although Chris likes to joke that it's because there was never any chance of them falling in love. You see, Rachel is a lesbian and Chris is well—not.

'Just as all their dreams seem to be coming true, Rachel decides that she wants to have a child. When she asks Chris to donate his sperm for the pregnancy, he agrees. But this request changes the way they think of each other — and suddenly their new "creative" project cracks open a gulf between them.'
