BiographyHistory

Documentary film-maker.

Kylie Boltin holds a B.A. (Hons) and a Master of Arts (Creative Writing) from University of Melbourne, and a PhD (Creative Media: Film & TV) from RMIT. She has been the commissioning editor: online documentaries for SBS Australia, where she commissioned interactive content for SBS OnDemand.

In 2021, she was announced as the Fryer Library Creative Writing Fellow, working on a novel then called Snakebite: the work was described by the Fryer as 'detective auto-fiction [...] based on a true story'.
