1 Aboriginal People's Self-Representation in My Place and Don't Take Your Love to Town Fang Hong , 2011 single work criticism
— Appears in: Journal of Xihua University , April vol. 30 no. 2 2011; (p. 90-94)
'My Place and Don't Take Your Lore to Town are two monumental works in Australian Aboriginal women' s life story. By depicting the Aboriginal people's true life in contemporary society, both works show great concern for the survival of the Aborigines. And because of this, critics often assume that they are similar in every aspect. However, as far as the Aboriginal people' s self-representation is concerned, the two books stand for the two different stages in Swan Hall' s "representation" theory, and thus have different characteristics.' 1 On Destruction of 'Angel' and Reconstruction of Female Images-Comment on Australian Modern Feminism's Novels Fang Hong , 2002 single work criticism
— Appears in: Journal of Suzhou University , vol. 3 no. 2002;

The "angel" image is the ideal female image created by traditional male writers in the canonical texts, and it reflects the patriarchal society's requirements for women, that is, marginalized women willingly accept the various social roles imposed on them. "Subversion" is closely linked to the reconstruction of female images and has become the primary goal of female writers 'writing. With the rise and development of the women's liberation movement, female writers' subversion of the "angel" image has also undergone a gradual process. They created different images of women in different periods to compete with them. Australian feminist literary creation revealed the roles and limitations of female writers in different periods in subverting the "angel"
