Jules Duncan's feature film debut, Rams, was an adaptation of the Icelandic film Hrútar, about two feuding brothers whose flocks come under threat; it was filmed in late 2018 / early 2019. In early 2019, he won the Monte Miller Award for an unproduced feature-length screenplay, for a script about a small-town journalist who survives a bungled assassination attempt and tries to get to the bottom of the conspiracy.
