Organisations

The following is a list (which we do not claim is either complete or comprehensive) of organisations that support artists and creatives with disabilities. (For the project's definition of 'disability', please see the home page.)

A_tisitic	A team of neurodiverse artists, consultants, and educators, A_tistic aim to bring autistic voices, stories, and perspectives to Australian drama.
Australian Theatre of the Deaf	The Australian Theatre of the Deaf makes daring, bilingual theatre for the hearing and the deaf.
Back to Back Theatre	Based in Geelong, Back to Back Theatre has a core ensemble of actors and other creative with intellectual disabilities.
Bus Stop Films	Run by Genevieve Clay-Smith, Bus Stop Films provides people from marginalised communities (with a particular focus on people with disabilities) access to experience in film-making.
DADAA (Disability in the Arts, Disadvantage in the Arts)	A Perth-based organisation providing access to the arts for people with disabilities or a lived experience of mental illness.
Deafferent Theatre	A theatre company that creates work for and with deaf and non-deaf actors and audiences.
Information + Cultural Exchange (I.C.E.)	I.C.E. (Information + Cultural Exchange) was founded in 1984 to work specifically with disadvantaged, vulnerable and emerging Western Sydney communities, artists and creative producers. We create art, amplify Community Cultural Development, build community capacity and enhance cultural vibrancy. Their outreach includes (but is not limited to) people with disability.
Outlandish Arts	A disabled-led not-for-profit organisation that supports artists and other organisations.
Quippings	A performance troupe that includes emerging and established artists who identify as being deaf and/or disabled and queer or as deaf and/or disabled and allies to the queer community.
Raspberry Ripple Productions	Production company led by actor Kate Hood, who has worked in theatre both before and after becoming a wheelchair user.
Rawcus	Led by artistic director Kate Sulan, Rawcus is an ensemble of performers with and without disabilities. Their work draw on dance, theatre, and visual arts.
Restless Dance Theatre	Including a junior and a senior ensemble, Restless Dance Theatre is a troupe of young artists with and without disability aged 15 and above.
Sensorium	Sensorium produces interactive theatre for young people with access needs.
Weave Movement Theatre	Based in Melbourne, Weave Movement Theatre is a hybrid dance and theatre company for performers with and without disabilities.
