History

The State Library of Queensland Young Writers Award is a short story competition of 2,500 words or less open to Queensland residents aged 15-25. It has categories for writers aged 15-17 and 18-25 with multiple prizes for the 18-25 category including $2000 awarded to the first place recipient and $500 to the runner-up.
