History

The Victorian Honour Roll of Women was established in 2001 to recognise the achievements of women from the Australian state of Victoria. The Honour Roll was established as part of the celebrations of Victoria's Centenary of Federation.

Notes

  • The Victorian Indigenous Honour Roll was inaugurated in 2012 with twenty initial inductees. The Honour Roll recognises 'Indigenous Victorians (currently living or who have lived in Victoria) who:

    • have had a significant influence that has instigated change for the betterment of Indigenous and non-Indigenous people in a particular field,
    • or, have made lasting contributions that have benefitted the Indigenous and non-Indigenous community across Victoria, Australia or internationally.
