This award was sponsored by AussieCon 4, the 2010 World Science Fiction Convention. Submissions for the short story contest had to include an Australian landmark or town, use the words 'make ready' and qualify as speculative fiction. Submissions had to be previously unpublished and 1,500 words or less.
