History

Offered by New Holland Publisher and the New South Wales Writers' Centre for an unpublished work of genre fiction. The prizes in 2007 were mentorships and publication contracts.

Notes

  • Inaugural year: 2007. The award is open to published and unpublished writers of any age who are Australian residents. The manuscipt submitted must never have been published before and must not be under consideration by any other publisher or for any award. Manuscripts must be genre fiction, ie crime, adventure, thriller, historical, family saga, romance, young adult, science fiction, fantasy or humour. (Source: NSW Writers' Centre website)
