'Ted and Marg are a farming couple struggling to make a living out of land that has become degraded, dry and lifeless. As they wait and pray for rain, sand dunes and dust-storms are advancing on their property and their home. Then Ted discovers, on a trip to the local tow, that the town dam is empty and everyone has disappeared.'
