'The Australian Literature Review is dedicated to revitalising Australian literature and promoting vibrant and original Australian literature. Literature is used here as an inclusive term which embraces fictional writing in general.

The Australian Literature Review is dedicated to written fiction and the practical craft of writing fiction.

Whilst the primary emphasis is on Australian literature, there is room for literature set in Australia by international writers and for articles about international literature.

The Australian Literature Review is not a political advocacy group and does not claim to speak for Australian fiction writers.
