The casting call sheets held in the Crawford Collection also shows the following information:
Other actors considered for the role of Steve Brennan included Brian James.
Actors were cast for roles called 'Two Drunken Boys', subsequently amended to 'Two Men on Foot'. The actors considered for these roles included Michael Croft, Peter Dahlsen, Gary Coshma, Glin Setchel, Gerard Powderly, and Peter Byrne.
Mark Zandle and Selena Lyons were cast as 'Two Nuts'.
Russell Beedle was cast as Male Secretary.
Bruce Barnes and Peter Culpan were cast as Policemen 1 & 2.
Tony Sprague was Ryan's stunt double.
