The casting call sheets held in the Crawford Collection also show the following information:
Other actors considered for the role of Major Wilson included Brian James, Nigel Lovell, Michael Duffield, and Denzil Howsen.
Actors considered for the role of Stan Parsons included Raymond Moore and Ken Weaver.
Robynne Rae was cast as Caroline Wilson.
Peter Byrne was cast as Hippie.
