Education Research and Perspectives has been published continuously by the Faculty of Education at The University of Western Australia since 1950.
Initially called The Educand, the title was changed in 1961 to The Australian Journal of Higher Education with the present title being adopted in 1974.
The journal is multi-disciplinary in outlook, with a mixture of general issues and issues devoted to special topics.
