Mrs Anna Czoski (Ayten Kuyululu), John Trenaman (Joseph Czoski), Judi Farr (Jill Czoski), Penelope Shelton (Mrs Bell), Beverley Roberts (Dr Bedi), Gwynneth Hughes (Miss Jackson), 'Toby' (Dog), Robert Schroeder (Man from Forensic), Frank Rich (Father Cameron), and Christopher Dunn (Constable Smith).


The casting call sheets also indicate the following information about the casting process:

Peter Culpan and Christopher Dunn were both considered for the role of Constable Smith.

The other actors considered for the role of Joseph Czoski were Kevin Golsby, Max Meldrum, Don Barkham, and Tim Elliot.

The actors considered for the role of Mr Bell were Maurie Fields, Syd Conabere, Karl Bleazby, Roy Lyons, Allan Stewart, and Ken Snodgrass. The actor to whom Don Storey attributes the role, David Williams, does not appear on the casting call sheets.

The other actors considered for role of Mrs Bell includes Carmel Milhouse and Beverley Dunn.

The actors considered for the role of Constable Jenkins included Louis Seater, Wally Pratt, Peter Culpan, Bruce Barnes, and Geoffrey Stewart.

The actors considered for the role of Constable Jones included Jim Gleeson, Christopher Ardill-Guinnes, Gary Nicholls, and Hugh Logan.
