AbstractHistoryArchive Description

'For 100 years, an oversized grin has greeted visitors to Luna Park. While the Giggle Palace is long gone and the kewpie dolls have been muscled out by Kindles, a spirit of manic merriment remains. Long-time St Kilda local Kate Holden takes a roller-coaster ride through a high-pitched and sometimes menacing history.' (Editor's abstract)
