The poem addresses the recently deceased Polish singer-songwriter Tadeusz Nalepa, the first husband of Mira Kubasińska, the Polish singer alluded to in the first line and referred to in earlier poems in this section of Śmierci mi bliskie, 'moja idolomania' (my idols). The poem imagines the couple reconciled after their deaths.
