AbstractHistoryArchive Description

Wastebasket was a science fiction fandom fanzine published during the 1950s by Vernon McCain (d. 10 June, 1958). The co-editor, as of issue four, was Walt Willis. Rosco Wright was the staff artist, with addition artwork supplied by Shelby Vick. The zine was distributed by the Fantasy Amateur Press Association.

Notable contributing authors were A. Bertram Chandler, Rory Faulkner, Norman E. Hartman, Lee Hoffman, Bill Morse, Bill Venable, Shelby Vick, and Walt Willis.
