Martin Armiger directed the music, as well as providing vocals and a number of instruments.
A number of musicians were involved in the show, including Deborah Conway (as Tracy Mann's singing voice), John Clifforth (as David Reyne's signing voice), and Cathy McQuade (as Sandra Lillingston's singing voice).
Other musicians involved in the show include Tommy Emmanuel, Chris Bailey, Eric McCusker, Red Symons, 'Freddie' Strauks, Todd Hunter, Rick Grossman, Mark Edwards, Tony Buchanan, and Reg Mombassa.
A highly successful soundtrack album was released.
The show was also tied into ABC's music program Countdown.
