AbstractHistoryArchive Description

While the Journal of Australasia has little of interest to report in terms of colonial publications during the month of September 1856, it does use its 'Journal of Literature and Art' column to lend support to the erection of a statue in honour of John Pascoe Fawkner who, it states, 'has spent a large portion of his life, and has sacrificed his health and his temporal interests, in our service'.
