The Sydney Herald compares its circulation to that of other Sydney newspapers. It claims a circulation of 'three thousand one hundred each publication'. It goes on to say: 'Of the other papers we cannot speak with certainty, the proprietors not having announced their numbers, but we believe their circulation averages about one thousand'.
