AbstractHistoryArchive Description

A review of The Curtain: Play Bill and Commercial Advertiser quotes from the journal: 'It is intended that The Curtain shall be conducted with the utmost spirit, and every effort will be made to render it the best medium for advertisers, for its size, in Melbourne. Its circulation will be largely increased, and its pretensions, in a literary point of view, second to those of no other newspaper'.
