The Broken-Hearted One, W. H. (fl. 1839) , single work short story
A wife's indiscretion leads to her disgrace. She is exiled from her home and children. Her husband remarries and the first wife can only look on at the happiness of the new family. Sick with grief, the first wife dies from a broken-heart.
