AbstractHistoryArchive Description

'Set in the heart of Fortitude Valley, four playwrights turn a dirty alleyway into the legends of nights out - where drunken youth roam free and the pavement becomes a stained and silent tapestry of history. The Alleyway Project cordially invites you to grab a milk crate and squeeze right up next to the stories of the Valley's night animals.' Source: Metro Arts newsletter May 2012 (Sighted 04/05/2102).

Notes

  • '"The Alleyway Project" is the first production of The Alleyway Collective, showcasing a unique style of pop-up theatre, inspired by those narrow alleys that we walk past every day. The Project encourages artists to "write site specific works responding to space and local subject matter stripping back the performances to create raw experiences that can be lost in large scale theatres."'
