Being a girl in an Elizabethan village isn’t easy, especially for prodigy Willow Shakespeare, who harbours big dreams of being the world’s first female playwright. Secretly enlisting the help of pirate-in-hiding Andrew Hathaway, Willow creates the myth of the greatest writer in history until ambition collides with secrets from the past that threaten to ruin everything.
