AbstractHistoryArchive Description

Jules Verne-Magasinet was a Swedish magazine that focused mainly on science fiction, with additional interest being directed towards utopia, dystopia and fantasy genres. It was first published between in 1940 and 1947 before being closed down. Bertil Falk restarted the magazine in 1969, running it until 1971 at which time the editorship was taken on by Sam J. Lundwall (1972-2009). Jules Verne-Magasinet was eventually forced to close down permanently in 2009, with the final issues release in early 2010.

The publishers which produced the magazine also changed over time, with known companies being Askild and Buttermilk Hill (1972), Delta Förlag (1973-1983), owned by Sam J. Lundwall and Gunnar Dahl, and Lundwell's own company Fakta and Fantasi (1983-2009).
