Notes

  • 'Over time the dolphins in Moreton Bay have represented different meanings for different people. The Nunukul, in Stradbroke Island, shared a special relationship with them and in certain seasons, they fished together. But for Maggie, when the dolphins appear in Manly Harbour in a different time, they recreate memories of her husband.' (One Book Many Brisbanes : Fifth Anthology of Brisbane Stories p. 142)
